About 70 artists staked their tents at Glensheen Mansion over the weekend for the Festival of Fine Art and Craft.
It is the 19th year Glensheen has hosted this festival. The best in show award went to Paul Webster and a metal arts nonprofit called "Forging Community."
Webster called the whole festival experience "pure joy." He said he wants to be a part of bringing Duluth's arts community together.
"Duluth has a very, very powerful art community," he said. "And what needs to happen is we need to bring all the very powerful parts together and form something that has even more power, to move with synergy and to actually work together and have it be known that this is an art destination."
