Three people are injured after a boat accident on Crane Lake, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities said the boat hit some rocks while entering the south side of King Williams Narrows at about 10:15 Wednesday night. The driver, Frank Reuling, and the passenger, John Bauserman, were ejected.

Deputies said the third person in the boat, William Stiebel, called for help with the boat's marine radio.

The three people involved in the crash were brought to the hospital. They are currently at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth with non-life threatening injuries, according to authorities.

Authorities said alcohol was not a factor, and no life jackets were worn at the time of the crash. The accident is under investigation.
