A fire in Ashland damaged a duplex Friday night.
It happened just after 7 p.m. at 412 3rd Street East. When the Ashland Fire Department arrived on scene, they found dark smoke coming from the two-story duplex.
Firefighters had the fire under control in about 20 minutes and it was extinguished within about 45 minutes.
The duplex suffered water and structural damage. No one was injured.
Officials said no foul play is suspected and the cause may be electrical.
Damage to the duplex was estimated at $25,000.
