Deputies have apprehended a suspect in a burglary that occurred at McKinley City Hall and Library Sunday, September 1st. The suspect is identified as 22-year-old Jacob William O'Neil Reynolds of St. Paul.

Authorities say several windows were broken at McKinley City Hall early that morning, and cash, computers, wireless equipment and books were stolen.

With the help of citizens, deputies said they identified a suspect and executed a search warrant at a nearby home.

Authorities say the stolen items were recovered, but the cash was not.

The suspect was arrested Tuesday evening at a home in McKinley. Reynolds was also wanted on a Hennepin County burglary warrant issued September 6th. He is currently being held at the Virginia jail pending a court appearance.
