The annual Cloquet Labor Day Parade wound through town Monday.
It follows the traditional route down Cloquet Avenue. A lot of people showed up to watch, but Thomas Hagen and his brother were probably more comfortable than anyone else. They rolled up to the curb in office chairs.
"My brother Jim works for Northern Business Products and he called me and said, 'We'll watch the parade here,'" Hagen said. "So he just pushed a couple chairs out for us, and he said 'We'll have a comfortable chair to watch the parade in.'"
This is a special place for Thomas Hagen. He said his father used to run the parade, and his mother, who passed away last week, had her celebration of life right across the street.
