The greatest craft brew celebration in the region is about to kick off...Grandma's 38th Annual Oktoberfest!

Grandma's Oktoberfest is a staple of the Twin Ports region. The German beer, music, food and fun make for a great ethnic bash that everyone can enjoy. Everyone can get in on the German themed fun.

On the 24th, Grandma's is having a parade in downtown Duluth at 11:30 PM. Free beer coupons will be given out to those who are of age. And the ceremonial tapping of the first keg will be at 12:30 in the afternoon at Grandma's in the canal.

On the 25th through the 29th, you can find the "Wurst Band" playing at Grandma's every day at noon, and at various times throughout the day. There will be beer drinking contests for those who are 21 or older, polka contests for all ages, and stein holding contests!

A full menu of German favorites will be served too, like the Sauerbraten Dinner, which Brittany and Ben sampled on the show. Of course there will be lots of bratwurst and kraut and other German dishes to enjoy too!

So definitely check it out in person, or stop by their Facebook page or website for more info!
