More than 30 firefighters responded to a fire on the campus of the Oak Hills Christian College in Bemidji on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a press release by the Bemdji Fire Dept., the fire was reported by college staff just before 3:30 p.m. By the time fire crews arrived on the scene, they found a large fire on the first floor, engulfing about 50 percent of the building.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the kitchen and storage rooms of the building.
The Bemidji Pioneer reports that the building engulfed was used as a bible camp, that hosts 500 visitors over the summer.
The college's website says that the building affected is called Camp Oak Hills.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but officials say they do not believe it to be suspicious at this time.
