BAGHDAD (AP) - Authorities say at least 23 people have been killed and dozens wounded in explosions in and near Baghdad.
Today's bombs targeted outdoor markets, including a triple blast in a Shiite village north of the city that killed 16 people. Police say the explosives were placed at the market entrance and inside the shopping area, and went off when the area was packed with shoppers.
No one has claimed responsibility for today's attacks, which are the latest in a deadly wave that's hit Iraq in recent months.
