ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The website where Minnesotans will be able to purchase health insurance under the federal health law is getting ready for its big launch.

Starting Tuesday, MNsure.com is open for business. But officials managing the venture say they're not expecting a flood of enrollment in the first few days.

MNsure's executive director, April-Todd Malmlov, says a lot of people may be lookers but not buyers in the early weeks.

Insurance bought through MNsure doesn't take effect until Jan. 1, and people can wait as long as Dec. 15 to sign up and still get coverage starting that day.

The state estimates that one in five Minnesotans will buy insurance through MNsure by 2016.
