October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and events kick off with a big event this weekend in Duluth.
Saturday, October 5th at 9 a.m. hundreds of community members with gather at Duluth's Lake Superior College (LSC) for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
This 5K walk is a great opportunity for folks in the Northland community to connect with others and to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. The American Cancer Society says it's a chance to join them and hundreds of people in Duluth to change the course of breast cancer forever.
