Less than two into Wisconsin's second wolf hunting season, hunters and trappers have taken more than half the wolves allowed.
According to the Wisconsin DNR, as of Friday, hunters and trappers had killed 127 wolves. The limit for this season is 251.
The season ends on February 28, or whenever the limit is reached.
Minnesota's second wolf hunt starts on November 9.
