ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - GOP businessman Scott Honour made the most but also paid the most in taxes last year among the 2014 candidates for governor.
Honour released his tax return Tuesday. The investor and now full-time candidate earned more than $1.7 million. According to his campaign he paid a combined $783,000 in federal, state and local taxes. He donated about $79,000 to charity.
Among other Republicans and their spouses:
Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton says he paid about $89,000 on earnings of $343,000 last year.
