A Break from the Snow/Wind

Gile, WI has had a tough winter so far. They picked up close to another 15" of snow from this recent storm. They're used to snow, but not this much this early in the year! The Northland will see a break from the accumulating snowfall today. Another clipper will provide more fresh powder on Wednesday.

For today, winds die down from the west under 10mph. Clouds and flurries should lead to some partial clearing later in the day. Clouds fill back in overnight as our next system approaches.

Light snow begins over our western zones before dawn tomorrow, starting midmorning around the Twin Ports. Snowfall across the region could amount to 1-2" with locally higher totals along the South Shore.

Thanksgiving provides better travel weather as high pressure regains control of the region. We're talking cold sunshine with highs on Thursday only reaching mid to upper teens.

Have a great day!
