Quiet Through the Weekend

A fairly benign weather pattern takes us into the next couple days. It's like last weekend, but without the fog and the 40s.Temperatures will slowly warm to near the freezing mark Saturday through Monday. It'll feel damp, but I don't think we'll see much melting take place.

For today, a few flurries with some spotty freezing drizzle possible across the region. Areas down toward Brainerd could see a few slippery spots by midmorning. Temperatures warm into the mid to upper 20s as winds turn southerly staying under 10mph.

Light snow across the International Border is forecast for Saturday adding up to less than an inch. Additional snow showers are possible across the Northland for the second half of Sunday.

We're keeping an eye on a slow moving system that could give us several chances for snow heading into next week. Late Monday into Tuesday does look rather snowy, and could impact Holiday travel. Stay tuned to the latest forecast as we go through the weekend.

Have a great day!
