Kids and their parents are packing into Duluth's Chester Bowl for this year's free ski camp.
Eight instructors at the camp, which started on the 26th and runs through the 30th, are teaching more than 100 kids this year, according to Chester Bowl Director Thom Storm.
He said most of the kids have never skied before. Storm said the program started more than two decades ago, and continues to get more popular. "With a lot of other activities for kids that numbers are declining, this sport just keeps growing. We have a record turnout this year."
While the camp is free, students need to bring their own equipment.
