Duluth dentist Dr. Kara Conry stopped by Friday morning to talk about the Give Kids a Smile program. This is the 12th year the program has been in operation, sponsored by the Minnesota Dental Association.
Certain Minnesota dentists across the state will provide free dental care services for children in need on February 7th & 8th, as part of Dental Health Month in February.
Patients who want an appointment need to be 18 years or younger, and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Advance appointments are required, but you can find a participating dentist to make an appointment with by calling the United Way by 1-80-543-7709, or going to www.mndental.org.
In the 12 years since Give Kids a Smile began, Minnesota dentists have provided free care to nearly 50,000 children in need.
