ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) - A bigger tip jar may be necessary at the Boone County Family Restaurant in Caledonia, Illinois.
A customer this weekend gave three waitresses $5,000 checks.
One of the waitresses tells the Rockford Register Star that she refused to take the check until the benefactor told the three to use the money for school and "everything else in life."
