Friday is National Wear Red Day, in support of women's heart health.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the U.S. Community members and businesses around Duluth will go red to raise awareness and support.
Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM there will be a 'Go Red' reception at the Fitger's complex where you can mingle with women challenging themselves to make heart healthy life changes.
Also, the Fitger's smoke stack and Enger Tower will be lit red to help inspire hope.
You can text photos of you and your friends or co-workers showing your support for women's heart health to the Northland 'Go Red' community at 218-260-5133.
