St. Paul, Minn. - Sophie McGovern and MiKayla Kero scored for Proctor-Hermantown, but the Mirage fell to St. Paul United 5-2 in the State A Quarterfinals of the Minnesota Girl's Hockey Tournament.

St. Paul junior defender Kate Hallet scored the deciding goal late in the third period, taking a slapshot from near the blue line that trickled by Mirage goalie Kylie Hommerding. An empty-net goal by Phelps soon followed to give United a 5-2 edge.
With the victory, St. Paul United advances to play East Grand Forks in the Class A semifinal on Friday at Xcel Energy Center. Section 7A champion Proctor/Hermantown (18-10) will face Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato Thursday in the consolation round at Ridder Arena.
