Saint Fennessy 4K

The Saint Fennessy 4K was created in memory of longtime Grandma's Marathon supporter Don Fennessy. Don sadly passed away in 2011. But we're sure he would love the 4K being run in his honor on March 14th.

Bob Gustafson, Public Relations Director of Grandma's Marathon, came on the show to talk about the 4K with Laurie on Tuesday morning.

"It's gonna be a fun run. It's an untimed race," Bob says regarding the 4K. This is in contrast to Grandma's Marathon. "We'll have a costume contest...it's just an enjoyable time to come out and celebrate Don's life."

You can register on or before race day. If you'd like to register before, head to grandmasmarathon.com at the Saint Fennessy 4K page. There is a lot of great info there.

Just remember, the race starts at 9:30 a.m. at Hermantown Schools on March 15th, and the finish line is at Hermantown Square Parking lot. Registration online until 3/13 is $25, registration after that time or on race day is $35.
