One of the Great Lakes fleet has arrived on the lower St. Mary's River.
The 1,000-foot Edwin H. Gott now just has to wait until conditions are favorable to get clearance from the U.S. Coast Guard so she can head upbound.
The downbound convoy of ships, including the Cason J. Callaway, and the John G. Munson, are continuing their way towards the Soo Locks, escorted by the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw.
The St. Lawrence Seaway opened Friday.
