General Mills has issued an apology to consumers after the company caught major flack over its policy change that could have affected their arbitration rights.
The new policy was aimed at people who clicked "Like" on a company's Facebook page, entered their sweepstakes, or downloaded their coupons, indicating that such actions could potentially cost them their right to take General Mills to court.
The Golden Valley-based company said in a blog post on Saturday, titled "We've listened - and we're changing our legal terms back," it has since reverted back to the old policy.
