A brick dedicated to a United States veteran sits in memorium in Veterans Park in Cloquet, Minnesota.
Following the Veterans Celebration Parade in Cloquet Friday, hundreds gathered in Veterans Park to celebrate the Fourth of July and those who served in the United States military.
Food vendors and family fun filled the park as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3979 hosted games of Bingo.
The park is dedicated to Veterans and features bricks engraved with the names of the those who served.
Spencer Moon is the junior vice for Cloquet's Disabled Veterans Chapter and served in the military for six years. He said it is particularly special to celebrate this holiday.
"It's a celebration of our country to believe what we want to believe as long as we honor everybody and treat everybody fair. It's a great place to live," Moon said.
The festivities continue with a carnival in Voyageurs Park, an outdoor movie and a fireworks show over the St. Louis River beginning around 10:10 p.m.
