A very popular train rolled into town on Wednesday.
Thomas the Tank Engine is in Duluth for two weekends of fun on the North Shore Scenic Railroad, and he's a big hit. Last year more than 16,000 people came to see him.
"The ride is about 20 minutes," said Ken Buehler, executive director of the Lake Superior Railroad Museum. "You leave from the Depot in Downtown Duluth. You travel through Canal Park, up along the North Shore to near Fitger's ... and back again. And then after that there's the live music, there's food on property, there's a juggler, a magician, there's so much fun and kids love it."
Trains leave every hour for two weekends, August 1-3 and 8-10. Tickets are available online for $19 each.
