Teddy made first team all-county twice and is expected to again this year. He qualified to play in a National Junior Tournament at PGA National Resort and he was named to the HP Scholastic All-American Team after writing an essay on golf truly being a sport.

Corcoran said, “It get glamorized, but there’s sweat and hours you have to put in and embrace playing in cold weather, rain. Embrace it and enjoy it.”

In addition to golf, Teddy is also captain of the basketball team.

Corcoran said, “It's a great change of pace from golf. It’s so different in a way. It compliments the work ethic from golf. I can apply it to basketball and turn the fun of that to golf.”

Teddy will attend Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia in the fall to play golf.

Corcoran said, “It will be challenging. I’m excited. It’s time to try and find out what you are really good at and what you want to do for the rest of your life.”
