Pour yourself a margarita. Researchers say a cocktail or two a day can help women prevent bone loss.
The study followed women who were regular drinkers. When they asked to cut alcohol out of their diet for two weeks, they showed what researchers call “bone turnover.” That’s a risk factor for Osteoporosis.
Researchers say the bone turnover rates returned to previous levels less than a day after the women resumed their normal drinking habits.
