Could Kevin Costner be the next GM of the Buffalo Bills? Hollywood thinks so and the NFL is considering it.
New York Magazine is reporting the NFL is looking at endorsing and possibly investing league money in "Draft Day" -- an upcoming movie starring Costner as the fictional general manger of the Buffalo Bills.
The story would follow the GM as he parlays the team's top draft pick into a series of trades to help build the team's lackluster roster.
The league has been reluctant to grant permission to movies that portray the NFL in a bad light.
One would have to go back to the 2006 film "Invincible" starring Mark Wahlberg to find a pro football movie that was given the NFL's blessing, allowing official team logos and names to be used.
