If you work in the Main Street and State Street areas, you might pass them everyday. The Rochester Police Department wanted to recognize two officers who they say are doing an incredible job.

Officers Aaron Brown and Aldo Dibisceglie are part of the RPD’s downtown detail. On a daily basis, these officers direct serious amounts of traffic and cross thousands of citizens across the intersection, all while being polite, engaging and leaving quite the lasting impression on everyone they come across.

The feedback coming into the police department is endless and good.

Officer Aaron Brown, Rochester Police Department, said, “It makes me feel good. It makes me feel like we're making a difference down here, especially on this corner. This corner is more like a traffic type thing. So it makes us feel good and we get a lot of feedback from the citizens, and the people that work down here.”

Officer Aldo Dibisceglie, Rochester Police Department, said, “I'm glad everybody appreciates it. I love the job. We want to remind people we are here for their safety.”

The officers are assigned to 2nd and 5th platoon as part of the downtown detail.
