Veterans, military personnel and their families had the opportunity to meet with dozens of employers Wednesday.
The Veterans Outreach Center and others hosted the 12th annual National Veterans Job Expo. It was designed to help those who need a job, or those looking for opportunities to advance in their careers.
Ryan Ritchie, Aerotek, said, “The reason we seek out veterans is they are a pretty hot skill set right now. These guys have discipline; they show up to work on time everyday. And to be honest with you, we're honored to be a part of it, because they have given us so much that it's great to give back to them and get them back to work."
Along with career opportunities, there were representatives from local colleges, offering information on going back to college, by using the post 9/11 G-I Bill.
