A 37-year-old man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the 2005 death of Shunda Cuyler.
The Monroe County District Attorney's Office says the guilty verdict marks the second time that Jeffrey Miller has been found guilty of the intentional killing of Cuyler. Prosecutors say they successfully prosecuted Miller in 2006 but the verdict was vacated due to technical issues surrounding the verdict sheet in the case.
Miller was convicted of shooting Cuyler, who he had been in a relationship with previously, multiple times near her home when she got out of a vehicle.
Miller is scheduled to be sentenced on November 27. He faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
