An alternative rock band from Los Angeles held a relief concert for the victims of Hurricane Sandy on Saturday night at the Water Street Music Hall.
The Shiny Toy Guns were on tour to promote their new album when their show in New York City was put on hold because of Sandy. So the group says they decided to play a show in free show Rochester to benefit Hurricane victims. Members of the audience weren't required to buy tickets, but rather bring items to donate to storm victims.
The band will bring all the items to a New Jersey shelter before returning to New York City.
