Woman dies after rollover accident in western NY

Police say a woman has died after a driver lost control of his vehicle in western New York.
    
The Niagara County Sheriff's office says 64-year-old Wade Smith of Lockport was driving in the town of Cambria when he ran into a ditch and culvert his vehicle rolled over just before 6 p.m. Monday.
    
Deputies say 70-year-old Barbara Pate of Lockport suffered multiple injuries when she was thrown out of the back seat. She died Tuesday at a hospital.
    
Wade was hospitalized in stable condition with internal injuries. Another passenger, 60-year-old Annie Smith of Lockport, was treated for arm injuries.
    
The accident is under investigation.
    
Cambria is 20 miles north of Buffalo.
