The Canandaigua Academy teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student is facing more charges.

After a joint investigation with Canandaigua Police, Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies have charged Lisa Footer, 44, of Manchester, with endangering the welfare of child and sexual abuse. Sheriff's Deputies say she had sexual contact with a 16-year-old boy inside her home on July 2012.

Footer, a Spanish teacher at Canandaigua, is also facing sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child charges after police say she had sexual contact with the same boy in a parking lot in the city of Canandaigua on November 10.

Police say she met the boy at a party over the summer. The teen is not one of her students.

On Friday morning, Footer and her attorney, Steve Sercu, met with Ontario County District Attorney Michael Tantillo and the case has now been adjourned until December 5.

Footer is on administrative leave from the Canandaigua City School District.
