The Monroe County District Attorney's Office tells News10NBC a jury has found 41-year-old Donyell McKenzie guilty of second degree murder.
This is the second time he's been on trial in the death of 23 year old Tyffany Porter.

Prosecutors said McKenzie stabbed Porter 47 times in December 2006.

McKenzie was previously found guilty of second degree murder in 2007. Last June, the state Court of Appeals overturned that conviction saying that original jury should have been allowed to consider a lesser charge.

McKenzie will be sentenced in early December. He faces 25 years to life in State Prison.
