Students at Webster Schroeder loaded up $1,200 worth of groceries Monday morning to benefit families at the Mt. Hope Family Center.
Students collected the money from other students, staff and family members and have been shopping all weekend. The groceries will fill Thanksgiving baskets to go to low-income families.
Mt. Hope Family Center studies the effects of violence, abuse, neglect and other traumas on human development and provides evidence-based clinical services for at-risk families in the Rochester area.
