Buffalo Bills officials told The Buffalo News that the man who was found dead near Ralph Wilson Stadium after last week's football game was ejected from the stadium for “disorderly conduct.”
26-year-old David Gerken Jr., of Palmyra, was found dead hours after the last Thursday's Bills game. Investigators say Gerken accidentally drowned in a creek at the bottom of a ravine near the stadium.
Bills officials say Gerken was ejected from the game around 9:55pm Thursday, roughly at the end of the first half. He was reported missing around 12:30am Friday after he never showed up to the bar where he was supposed to meet his brother after the game.
Gerken was one of 94 fans ejected from Thursday night's game. Officials are not saying what he was accused of doing or if Gerken appeared to be intoxicated.
