A Rochester family fought to save their home after it went up in flames on Sunday.
The Rochester Fire Department tells News10NBC the fire started in a second floor bedroom. A woman that lived there was burned as she tried to put out the fire. A firefighter was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. There is smoke damage to the second floor and water damage on the first floor.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the Red Cross says the family of three is being helped by the Red Cross.
