Do you plan on shipping presents to friends and family this season? The U.S. Postal Service has a tracking program and you can check the progress of your package online but there's a problem -- beware of bogus emails claiming to be from the post office or other shipping companies.
Fraud specialists say the emails contain false information about a package that could not be delivered but there are ways to tell it’s not real. You should pay attention to the spelling in the e-mail and the Postal Service says it will never send an e-mail regarding a package it cannot deliver.
Be careful what you click on because it could activate a virus that can steal your personal information.
