Two Rochester Police officers, man hit by car

Two Rochester Police officers were hit by a car Monday night while trying to arrest a man.

Police tell News10NBC officers were called to a house on Saint Paul Street near Beach Street around 9 p.m. for reports of drug activity. News10NBC is told several people ran out of the house when patrol cars arrived. Two officers were hit while chasing after one man. That man was also hit by the car.

Officer Richard Doran suffered leg pain and Officer Kevin Flanagan injured his arm and leg. Both officers and the man were treated and released.

The driver, 35-year-old Singh Gurvinde of Rochester, was ticketed for failing to yield. The man police were chasing is not facing charges.
