The woman accused of manslaughter in a deadly drunk driving crash July is expected in court Tuesday.
Megan Merkel, 23, is charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI in the crash that killed Fairport teacher Heather Boyum as she rode her bike on Route 250 in Penfield.
Police say Merkel hit Boyum after she had been hit by a motorcycle driven by her boyfriend, 23 year-old Mark Scerbo of Penfield, who also faces charges.
Boyum left behind a husband and two young children.
Merkel is due to appear in court at 9 a.m.
