Pittsford voters approved two projects -- one that will renovate schools and the other that will improve athletic fields.
The first project, which was approved by a vote of 2,531 to 566, will include $35.6 million in upgrades to all nine school buildings in the district, including new fire alarm systems and PA systems.
News10NBC is told it will not have an impact on taxes because of state aid and reserve funds.
The second project, which was approved by a vote 1,946 to 1,132, is a $7.6-million improvement to athletic fields. It includes creating a synthetic turf at Mendon and Sutherland High Schools and adding stadium lights at Sutherland.
According to the district's website, this plan is expected to increase taxes an average of $4.99 a year.
