Americans spending more money on pets

Do you consider your pets part of your family? Whether it's hiring a pet-sitter, dog-walker or purchasing specialized pet foods or over-the-counter medications, pet owners will be spending more on their beloved animals in the coming year.
 
According to Kiplinger, Americans will spend more than $55-billion on their pampered pooches, felines, and other pets in 2013. That's up 15-percent from 2010.
