Foodink is hosting an event on Wednesday to help shed light on hunger.
Employees from both AT&T and Wegmans are volunteering at Foodlink, the regional food bank, to show their commitment to ending hunger in the community.
The companies also partnered together to donate $7,000 worth of Wegmans peanut butter and tuna fish to Foodlink.
Volunteers will be sorting and packing holiday baskets of fresh local produce into reusable Wegmans bags. The baskets will be delivered throughout the month of December to hundreds of local human service organizations and emergency food providers.
