News10NBC is outside the house of a missing Ontario County man in Stanley, and more Sheriff's Deputies have arrived with their patrol cars and a police technician unit. A police news conference is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies first surrounded the Mott Road home of 32 year old Adam Chase Thursday night. Chase has been missing since June.

Sheriff Philip Povero held a news conference Thursday saying they received a tip, that took them to an undisclosed location. At the location they found human remains, but they are not sure if they are the remains of Adam Chase.

Chase has not been seen, since he left his home after an argument with his wife.

His disappearance has been treated as a missing person case by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Family members have indicated they believe foul play is involved in Chase’s disappearance.

News10NBC was also able to speak with the Chase family Thursday night about the new developments. Adam's mother Sylvia Chase says she has thought all along that her son didn't just disappear. She says her cries have fallen on deaf ears and there is some relief that an answer might come soon. But on Thursday night, Sylvia and the rest of her family were fearful that their worst nightmare had come true.

"Hopefully we can get the answer we are searching for," says Sylvia. "Not knowing is the worst part of it all."

"Just like we've said for the beginning, we didn't think it was like our brother to walk off" says Adam's sister Jessica. "Maybe now they believe us, that's it's not in our brother's nature."

The Ontario County Sheriff's Office has scheduled a press conference for Friday morning and the Chase family says they plan on attending.
