Brother Wease, morning radio host on 95.1 The Brew, plans to stay on the air for 24 hours straight, hoping his listeners will be in the giving mood.

Brother Wease is broadcasting until 6 a.m. Friday in hopes that people will call in donations to go to the Monroe Community Hospital. So far, he’s raised about $8,500.

Wease is hoping to at least match last year's total of $30,000 and every dollar, he says, goes to a good place and is certainly needed. “They're a place where people go and are treated. Little babies live there. People live there and some expire there, it's a place that needs help."

If you can't get to a radio to listen to Brother Wease on 95.1, you can also listen on the “I Heart Radio" app.
