I-Team 10 is learning more about the investigation into the shooting of four firefighters in Webster.
A law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigations tells I-Team 10 that William Spengler had four whiskey bottles full of gasoline found unspent against the house.
Police believe the fire was started when Spengler fired a flare gun. That gun was found at the scene. Investigators say Spengler had a pistol, a shotgun and a semi-automatic AR-15 type rifle with 30 shot magazine capability. One of the magazines was spent and three were unspent. Police are now trying to figure out where he got them.
Police believe he made recent threats against his sister, but there have been no major calls to police regarding Spengler since his release from prison in 1998.
