nullThe West Webster Fire Department has set up a fund for people who would like to donate to help assist the families of the four firefighters who were shot on Lake Road in Webster on Monday.

Donations to the West Webster Volunteer Firemen’s Association can be made a number of different ways.

People can drop off their donations in person at the West Webster Station #1 located on 1051 Gravel Road in Webster.  People can make checks payable to the “West Webster Volunteer Firemen’s Association“. The checks can be sent to the West Webster Station #1, 1051 Gravel Road, Webster, New York 14580.

The fire department is in the process of setting up a secure, on-line donation process.

The Webster Community Chest is also accepting monetary donations for the firefighters' families. Checks may be written out to the Webster Community Chest and mailed to 1000 Ridge Road, Webster, NY 14580.  On the memo line please write:  Fire-12/24.  Credit Card donations (via Pal Pal) are also being taken through our web site at http://www.webcommchest.org.  Please indicate that your donation is for 12/24.

All donations earmarked for these families will be given to these families, in addition to Webster Community Chest needs based assistance.  The Chest will attach no administrative fees. Credit Card donations are subject to Pal Pal's fee of 2.2 %.

The Webster Community Chest is a non-profit organization that has been providing assistance to needy Webster residents since 1948.
