Flights canceled at the Greater Rochester International Airport due to bad weather

More than a half dozen flights have been canceled at the Greater Rochester International Airport due to bad weather.

The flights that are affected are arrivals and departures from Chicago and Cleveland.

A blizzard warning is in effect for Cleveland.

A winter storm warning will take effect on Wednesday at 4 p.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday in several New York counties including Monroe, Livingston and Wayne.

Heaviest snow and wind is expected after sunset Wednesday and will continue into Thursday morning.
