Man pleads guilty to embezzling thousands from Canandaigua Civic Center

The man accused of embezzling thousands of dollars from the Canandaigua Civic Center plead guilty in court Wednesday.

Michael Cronin, 48, of Canandaigua, plead guilty to second degree larceny in Ontario County Court. He was charged back in August for embezzling more than $71,000 from the Canandaigua Civic Center while he was the executive director there. The alleged embezzling occurred from December 2010 to July 17, 2012.

Michael Cronin is scheduled to be sentenced on February 13 in Ontario County Court.
