A vote on disaster aid for Superstorm Sandy victims is still on for Friday at 10:45 a.m.
The $9.7 billion package is expected to pass the House of Representatives.
The funding will replenish the National Flood Insurance Program which FEMA says will run out of money next week if congress doesn't act.
Lawmakers will vote on the remaining $51 billion for Sandy aid on January 15th.
Governor Andrew Cuomo isn't taking back his criticism of Republican majority leaders, who canceled the original vote which was scheduled on January 1. He says the delay remains "an outstanding failure."
