Congressman Chris Collins won a tight victory for the 27th district over Kathy Hochul last November. On Saturday he will take his ceremonial oath of office at three locations that span the district.
The first oath was at the Ontario County Courthouse in Canandaigua at 10 a.m. Canandaigua marks the the eastern boundary point for the district.
The second oath will be at the Genesee County Courthouse in Batavia Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. The final ceremony will be in Lancaster, which is near the western boundary point for the district.
Collins was officially sworn-in as part of the 113th Congress on Thursday.
